The Goldsmiths’ Company, as Trustee, are inviting applications for a travelling scholarship or a grant for 2024.

The award is worth up to £2,000, and applicants should fulfil the following criteria:

The award is offered to a graduate within two years of completion of a BA or MA course or a student in their final year. They must be of British nationality and have studied or are studying at an art college in the United Kingdom. The applicant must be under the age of 28.

A recommendation from the Head of Department of the student’s college will be required from shortlisted applicants.

If seeking a travelling scholarship, the applicant should explain the purpose of his or her travel and provide an outline itinerary together with estimated costs.

If seeking a grant towards a particular project please give details and estimated costs.

Successful applicants will be required to write a short report on their travels/ project once completed and send images of work arising from the Award.
